Oxford Contemporary Music
Six Local were commissioned by Oxford Contemporary Music to develop a bespoke ticketing and music download store which would enrich the experience of visitors to the website. The site uses sophisticated Java based technologies to create an innovative ecommerce website with a rich content management system.
The Brief behind the design
Develop a ticketing system for OCM to allow them to sell tickets to their customers and create data, which they would be able to use to analyse their audience. A music downloading system, allows them to upload the music created at their events onto their server, where users can download the tracks they like listening to.
The Solution
The OCM website uses opensource internet technologies including J2EE, JBoss
MySQL and various Prototype libraries. An innovative and neat solution to music upload and ticket sales.
